Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe – 2022
is a 2022 coming-of-age romantic film written and directed by Aitch Alberto in her feature directorial debut. It is an adaptation of the 2012 novel of the same name by Benjamin Alire Sáenz. It follows two Mexican American teenagers on the cusp of manhood who form a life-changing bond after a chance meeting at an El Paso pool in the summer of 1987. Aristotle and Dante, originally published in 2014, had its premiere at the 47th International Toronto Film Festival on September 9, 2022.
