Steve Lund (born January 9, 1989) is a Canadian actor, best known for playing the roles of Jake in Schitt’s Creek and Nick Sorrentino in Bitten.
Before acting, he played in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, for the P.E.I. Rockets (now the Charlottetown Islanders) and the Halifax Mooseheads, before being forced to end his hockey career in 2008 after a series of concussions. Within months of leaving that career, he began taking acting classes in the Vancouver Film School acting program and found a new one. Lund began his acting career in 2009 with a short film End of Message, followed by another short movie The Dunwich Horror. He entered into the mainstream after he landed the role of Stewart in the 2011 web series Yukonic!.
He has appeared in several Hallmark Channel films, television shows such as Haven, Reign and a leading role in the reboot of Street Legal.
Lund then starred in numerous television films with minor roles, including Alphas, Lost Girl, Nikita, Haven, Hemlock Grove, Katie Chats, to name a few. In 2014, he portrayed the lead role of Nick Sorrentino in the TV series Bitten. He also played the role of Jake in the television sitcom Schitt’s Creek.
In 2019, Lund played the titular character of Adam Darling in a legal drama series Street Legal. His other acting credits include Frankie Drake Mysteries, Good Witch, Reign, Private Eyes, and The Banana Splits Movie.

Lund gained recognition for his roles in various TV shows and movies. He is perhaps best known for his portrayal of Nick Sorrentino in the supernatural drama series “Bitten,” which aired from 2014 to 2016. The series was based on the “Women of the Otherworld” book series by Kelley Armstrong and followed the lives of werewolves in a modern society.
In addition to “Bitten,” Lund has appeared in several other television projects. He has taken on guest roles in popular shows like “Haven,” “Hemlock Grove,” and “Schitt’s Creek.” His performances have earned him a dedicated fanbase and have showcased his versatility as an actor.
Lund is reportedly single and open to dating someone. Despite having a good look, there hasn’t been a woman romantically linked to the actor to date. His social handles, where he often posts about his professional life, are also impotent on revealing his possible love affairs.Being an actor, Lund has portrayed characters that are not straight, which has fueled the speculations about his sexual orientation (Well fingers crossed Hey !). Several of his fans and admirers suggest that he is gay, but nothing has been confirmed about him being ‘gay’ in real life.
Lund is quite tall and is blessed with a charming personality. He stands at a decent height of 6 feet 3 inches and weighs about 75 kg. His brown hair and black eyes provide a perfect complement to his personality.
