Fifteen-year-old Stasik is growing up in a village in Ukraine while his parents are away working in western Europe. Now they want him to follow and rejoin them, but he is carrying a secret that weighs heavily on him.
Different pieces, so familiar for Eastern public. A teenager, his parents working in West, his good friends and the not comfortable feelings about him, the father of the friend, the grandmother only as silhouette in the garden and the truth as fair answer to the parents’ proposition. It is more than a good short film about a gay young man, homophobia but a great portrait of profound loneliness.
