Sleepover (2018) is a Swedish gay short film written and directed by Jimi Vall Peterson. It stars Simon Eriksson and Hjalmar Hardestam as Emil and Adam, two close friends who spend a night together after a night at the movies.
Emil and Adam have been friends for as long as they can remember. They do everything together, from playing video games to going to parties. But Emil has been keeping a secret from Adam: he has feelings for him.
One night, after a night at the movies, Emil decides to sleep over at Adam’s place. They talk and laugh, and Emil feels his feelings for Adam growing stronger. Eventually, Emil confesses his love to Adam.
Adam is surprised by Emil’s confession, but he doesn’t reject him. He tells Emil that he needs some time to think about it.
The two boys spend the rest of the night together, talking and getting to know each other better. By the end of the night, they both realize that they have feelings for each other.
Sleepover is a sweet and heartwarming story about two friends who discover that their friendship is more than they ever realized. It is a reminder that love is love, no matter who you are or who you love.
